AWiB is a volunteer driven membership association that seeks to unleash potential through supporting the personal and professional development of career women and women in business in Ethiopia.

Established in April 2010, AWiB has been engaged in enabling personal and professional developments through facilitating experience sharing between upcoming and established female leaders through its networking platform; encouraging transformative conversations and sharing of pertinent information through its monthly programs and annual events. EP partnered with BPC in LAL Investment Facilitation Intervention, to tackle absence of quality, informative, and packaged information about LAL investment opportunities in Ethiopia such as a thorough market analysis, policy support, and appropriate local partners to work with. Tags: LAL

Enat Bank

Enat Bank is a commercial bank and was initiated by Ethiopia’s businesswomen with a belief that supporting women to make deposits, access credit and trade services, and better manage their finances is good for business. Enat Bank aims to make profits for its shareholders while supporting social causes as well. Of its 7,000 shareholders, 64% are female.

Enat’s mission is “to become a trendsetter in quality banking services delivery with a special focus on the needs of woman, and to play a catalytic role in stimulating social and economic development and creating shareholders value.” Its vision is “to become a world-class bank mainly by leveraging women’s capabilities.” Tags: Finance

Founded in 1974, EVA is a not-for-profit association of veterinarians in Ethiopia. EVA represents more than 95% of veterinarians and commendable number of animal scientists serving in public or private. EVA focuses on becoming a medium of information exchange in the veterinary sector; maintain and improve professional standards and excellence; advocacy for high standard professional and ethical practices; and serving the needs of its members. Next Fashion Design College is a training institute founded by designer Sara Mohamed and registered by Addis Ababa Educational Bureau in 2006. The college has got recognition in level I up to Level IV training program from City Government of Addis Ababa Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Agency. Textile Industry Development Institute (TIDI)

TIDI is an autonomous federal government institution of Ethiopia established to fulfil textile industry development, a key part of GoE’s development plans. EP and TIDI are currently working together on a Pre-Employment Skills Training project, where the project will enable to source, train, and place 375 individuals in negotiation with an existing FDI in the Hawassa Industrial Park using the existing TVETs and other service providers’ capacity.
